Recycle: DIY Craft Caddy

Sometimes we get into a project and need a lot of supplies to work with. Since all of our supplies are kept in our craft closet it usually takes awhile to get everything (and even longer to put it up) out because we have to take many trips. Well one day while we were getting drinks at Quiktrip, we had too many to carry in one trip so we had to use one of their drink carriers. And this is when we got our brilliant idea! The drink carrier would be PERFECT for helping us carry our craft supplies. So as soon as we got our drinks home we put the drink carrier to work.  But we didn't care for the boring tan carrier so we livened it up a little bit with color.

We also cleaned out an old can, spray painted it gold, and put it in one of the spots in our caddy. It is perfect for holding pencils, markers, paint brushes, scissors, etc.

Our caddy is perfect for carrying our smaller craft supplies such as paint, glue, tape, beads, string, etc. And it can be filled with different things depending on which project you are doing.

At the end of the day if we aren't done with our project we just put the materials back in our caddy and sit it out of the way for the next day. And when are project is complete we put everything back in the craft closet. Then our caddy is empty and ready to be filled when we start our next project. xoxo, Britt + Sky
